Terms of Service

1. Rates are subject to change if shipping documentation provided to ENACT at time of quote was not accurate with shipment description.
2. Standard liability limits are based off negotiated liability coverage specific to each common carrier.
3. When released value goods are tendered to responsible carrier, any released value commodities/goods will be considered at the commodity’s lowest declared value, unless a higher value is stated on the original Bill of Lading for pick up.
4. Rates quoted are subject to change if freight is not picked up on date assigned. If accessorial charges were not previously considered, carrier may add additional accessorial charges reflecting additional services required for pickup and/or delivery. ENACT will not be responsible for rate charges when additional accessorial are incurred. Any special handling or delivery instructions must be provided for accurate invoicing when requesting initial rate.
5. If hazardous materials are being shipped, Shipper is responsible for providing accurate documentation in compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations and carrier requirements governing transportation of hazardous materials. Please provide 24-hour emergency contact information on the Bill Of Lading.
6. Rates quoted are subject to cancellation.
7. Transit times quoted are approximate and are not guaranteed, unless guaranteed services were purchased. This information needs to be declared on original Bill Of Lading prior to pick up.
